With trepidation, I went to my first yoga class ever being in my 50's -I was really nervous. That is when I met our yoga instructor Jess, she was so welcoming putting me at ease that I did not have to be a gymnast to do this class. I was hooked from the first class, the classes were really challenging but help and encouragement was always given when needed. Jess made the classes fun as well, with great music. I always somehow came out relaxed and in good spirits, I highly recommend her classes.

Jess’s yoga class has been a fantastic addition to my routine! It’s a great mix of solid exercise and fun, with good laughs along the way. Jess is informative and makes sure everyone, no matter their skill level, feels included and comfortable. I love being part of a yoga class led by an incredible mother-daughter duo, Jessica and Nevaeh Barber. Jessica is a master of her craft—her knowledge of body alignment and breathwork is outstanding. Her guidance is gentle yet powerful, and she has an uncanny ability to know exactly what each person needs in the moment. The classes are light-hearted with lots of laughter interspersed by the groans …..
Nevaeh brings a youthful vibrancy to her teaching that complements her mother’s style beautifully. She incorporates new techniques and creative poses that keep the practice fresh and challenging. It’s clear that she has learned from the best, yet she is making her own unique mark in the yoga space.
